趁着佳节来临前，和一群朋友在家中吃火锅相聚，岂知用餐半小时后，钢化玻璃餐桌“爆炸”，火锅汤底和材料也飞溅到四处都是，不少人被玻璃割伤，还有人甚至遭到二度烫伤。 网友Stephanie Chu昨日晚上8时许，在脸书帖文，分享这可怕经历。 她指出，当时和朋友一起在家中聚餐，却没想到用餐半小时后餐桌爆炸，玻璃碎片和火锅汤及食料都撒到满地，吓得他们措手不及。 在场友人都被烫伤和玻璃碎片割伤，有的朋友伤口好似眼球般大小，而她自己也遭到二度烧伤，因此致电救护车求助，被送到黄廷芳综合医院。 “我知道桌子的钢化玻璃厚度达15毫米，即使再坚韧也可能会产生热应力，但是对于钢化玻璃的耐热度和持续时间，却没有确实的答案，所以才导致了这不幸的意外经历。” 她还列出了此事件所造成的亏损，包括新厨具、沙发和墙壁都有血迹、甚至渗入到水泥浆内、美食，还有伤者需要送院急救和复诊等。 向家具公司索赔 她感叹，原本是一场欢乐的聚会，最终却成为令人痛苦的经历，并希望她的经历能够成为钢化玻璃桌面使用者的前车之鉴。 她也表示，已经联系家具公司索赔，然而相关公司只能为他们更换一个全新的层压板桌面。虽然她不是很满意，但是她和丈夫更希望该公司能够赔偿医疗和维修费，以负起最基本的责任。 “真想知道在未来，我是否能够安心享用来自同一家公司的家具？” Stephanie表示，她和家人入住新家，家具都是全新的，准备在新屋中迎接首个农历新年，却碰上有关事件，令他们感到心中郁闷非常。 “当我从医院回家，打开大门时，我崩溃地哭了起来，家中乱七八糟，看起来就好似谋杀案现场般。” 网民指严重缺乏常识 帖文发出不到一天，就有3600人做出反应，6400条评语，以及1万8000人转发。 网友们留言给予祝福，希望受伤人士都能尽快康复，也很感激Stephanie做出有关的分享，让其他的钢化玻璃桌面使用者提高警惕。 然而大部分的网民都认为在钢化玻璃上煮火锅，是“严重缺乏常识”的事件。 他们表示，小学生都知道不能在玻璃上放置过热物件，然而Stephanie做了有关的事件后，还要家具公司赔偿，实在是不理智且搞不清楚状况。 也有网民分享到，造成钢化玻璃桌面爆裂，所承受的热量并非原因，而温度快速或突然的转变才是肇因。他提醒到，玻璃是在超过1000摄氏度的温度下制造而成，而烹煮食物时，桌面上的温度变化非常快，导致玻璃无法计算散热，才会产生破裂。 “所以说，若你能够慢慢地增加火锅的温度，玻璃爆裂事件可能就不会发生。”
