The passengers onboard the North South Line (NSL) train again experienced a short delay on Thursday (11 July) evening, due to a track fault. This is the second incident this week and was informed by some commuters on TATA SMRT Facebook; SMRT again did not give any information about this disruption on its social media platforms.

Mary Lee wrote at 6:32pm: “Train stuck at Marina Bay for 5 mins counting, is there any problem?”

Ang Hwee Ling wrote at 6:37pm: “Announcement heard from Bishan interchange (CCL): Due to train issues between City Hall and Marina South Pier, expect additional 5 minutes of travel.”

Wayne Chew wrote at 6:37pm: “⚠️ North South Line – Track Fault ? City Hall – Marina South Pier ? Additional 5 minutes traveling time due to Track Fault near Marina South Pier (Station announcement).”

Fortunately only about 20 minutes later Mary Lee informed that the train service had resumed, as announced in the station:

However, there was no commuters’ complain or information on the Twitter platform.
