A short Closed-circuit Television (CCTV) footage of the moment that a teenager who fell from the fourth-storey linkway between Orchard Central and Orchard Gateway on Friday (24 February) afternoon was shared on social media platforms.
The 17-year-old male, who has been identified as Jonathan Chow Hua Guang, passed away from his injuries after being conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital which was on standby to receive him.

The CCTV showed the Chow conversing with a female friend. She later was shown, attempting to take a handphone video of the deceased while he climbs over the rails. She then appeared shocked when he disappeared off the footage.

Earlier, the news of the fatal accident stated that the teenager was taking pictures along the bridge when his phone suddenly fell off his hands and landed onto the parapet. He leaned over to take it. Unfortunately, he lost his balance and fell down.
The mall management, however, said that he had vaulted the railing of the link bridge
