个人代步工具(PMD)课题此前闹得沸沸扬扬,然而为了能争取更多权益,使用PMD的用户将在本周六(11月23日)下午5点至10点,于芳林公园举行一场和平集会,特别是诚邀包括送餐员等用户一同出席。

该集会将作为PMD骑士们的发声平台,让所有深受电动滑板车禁令困扰的骑士,能够对近日的个人带工具禁令进行反思,同时也欲让政府了解骑士的生计受到多大的影响。

根据All Singapore Stuff脸书专页所公告,此次集会邀请电动滑板车送餐员何益豪、 Andrew Thang, 前总统候选人陈钦亮以及人民力量党秘书长吴明盛。本次集会将在晚间8点之际,举办长达一小时的对话会议,让出席者发表自己心中所想。

虽然活动宗旨是旨在解决个人代步工具禁令后续延伸的问题,但也诚邀非用户国民出席集会,有意出席者,请携带身份证或护照。

基于涉及电动滑板车的事故频繁,本月5日起,交通部兼卫生部高级政务部长蓝彬明医生宣布电动滑板车被禁止在所有人行道使用。尽管政府曾期望电动滑板车用户能够以包容负责的态度使用,奈何公用户使用心态无法达到,因此才会选择禁令。

“奈何事与愿违,当初将个人代步工具引入是基于它们无污染、价格实惠,能够用于短途行程”,蓝彬明表示。

然而,禁令的颁布却让许多电动踏板车用户,尤其是赖以为生的送餐员影响到生计。送餐员甚至在颁布禁令后数周便在各区开启对话会,蓝彬明也出席了其中一场,但结果并不如所愿。

蓝彬明在对话会后坦言,在该课题中并无“完美解决方案”,在基础设施未得到良好的提升前,目前还是必须以行人的安全为主,并表示不能接受另一起因电动滑板车相关的致命事故。

但大多数新加坡人民在看见禁令后对送餐员生计重挫时,却选择持相反意见,包括日前曾有一百多名学生为送餐员声援,希望政府未来决策中能够更关注送餐员的生计,而且也希望在作出决策前能够充分得到公众咨询。

就连新加坡人民党的新任主席乔立盟也表示,政府突然的禁令,欠缺考虑利益相关者与建立共识,直指政策规划模式不佳。
