An accident took place at the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) towards Tuas, next to the Jurong Town Hall Road exit on Thursday (March 23) afternoon between a lorry and a trailer causing a massive jam along the road.
Land Transport Authority alerted road users on its Twitter account that the accident caused congestion until Clementi Ave 2 Exit, suggesting them to avoid lane three.

The lorry driver along with his two passengers suffered minor injuries. Fortunately, no other injuries were reported.
Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) extricated the victims from the crushed cabin and they were conveyed to the National University Hospital (NUH).
According to The Straits Times, one of the passengers, who is in his 40s, suffered a head injury. While the other passenger was wounded in the leg.
A video of the scene after the incident was posted by Facebook account Sure Boh Singapore.
The video shows a fire engine, a traffic Police motorcycle, a patrol car, an ambulance, and recovery vehicles.
