总理：所有本地公民和长期居民 免费接种冠病疫苗

新加坡总理李显龙宣布，政府拨款超过10亿元，以采购冠病19疫苗。所有公民和长期居住在本地的居民，都能免费接种冠病疫苗。 他表示，他和内阁同僚将尽早接种冠病疫苗，以证实疫苗是安全。政府将优先为医疗保健工作者、前线人员、年长人士和一些弱势群体接种疫苗，才陆续到其他人士，目标是在明年底，让所有自愿接种的民众，都可注射疫苗。 卫生部委任的专家团建议，我国所有成年人都应接种，但疫苗接种属自愿性质。 他指出，在疫情爆发初期，政府确保我国能及早取得疫苗，包括向莫德纳、辉瑞和中国北京科兴生物等药剂公司签署了预先采购协议，并已早期预付定金。 卫生科学局则批准辉瑞研发冠病疫苗，预计月底就会抵达我国，相信将使我国成为全球率先获得疫苗的国家之一。 总理称，若按计划进行，到明年第三季，将有足够疫苗为全国人口接种。 政府也安排药剂公司在本地进行临床实验和药物开发工作，以及支持本地科研人员开发疫苗，以保障本地疫苗供应。
