The incident reportedly took place at a stall located in Taman Tasik Permaisuri area.

Expressing her disgust and disbelief, ffaateha wrote: “Can’t traders be more careful? What level of filthiness is this? This has totally ruined my appetite.”

Fearing for others’ well-being, she advised netizens: “Make sure you check your food before devouring it. I now have a phobia of buying roadside nasi lemak! It’s disgustingly unhygienic!”

Ffaateha commented that she had returned the nasi lemak to the seller.

Her predicament struck a chord with others, as comments poured in, sharing similar experiences.

One user, Nurul, shared her own nauseating tale, saying, “I once bought a banana leaf-wrapped nasi lemak, only to realize after eating that there were bird droppings or chicken faeces on the back of the banana leaf.”

Mama Leha, expressing her dismay, exclaimed: “I’ve lost my appetite!”

Meanwhile, another user voiced his concerns, stating, “I’m too scared to buy nasi lemak now!”

A user named Ban Sao urged ffaateha to report the stall to the health authorities.

Allice, on the other hand, couldn’t help but find some humour in the situation, joking: “Look at the size of those anchovies!”

Sallyadnan87 remarked: “Anchovies are expensive nowadays!”
