So if you love durians but don’t own a car, you will understand the dilemma of having to transport them from the durian stalls back home since they are prohibited on public transport. However since nothing unites Singaporeans like the love for durians and National Day Parade, this year Grab is offering to help Singaporean’s to enjoy both.

First up, GrabDurian is back again for the fourth year running, complete with free deliver. Here’s how you can enjoy some durian at hassle-free at home between 27-29 July, 2-5pm:

Open up your GrabFood on your app and select ‘GrabDurian’. Add as many boxes and you want, enter the GRABDURIAN promo code to enjoy free deliver.

Each box of GrabDurian costs S$20, and is guaranteed to have at least 400g of freshly shelled durian inside (at least one durian’s worth of flesh), packed for your convenience and ready to be consumed.

Grab is also organising a social media contest from now till 5 August, to giveaway five sets of highly-coveted National Day Parade tickets. Submit a story about an interesting encounter with #GrabHeroes – a Grab driver, GrabPay merchant or GrabFood delivery-partner – for a chance to join in the action at Marina Bay on 9 August.

Grab has been growing rapidly for the past five years and will soon become the first Southeast Asian company to hit revenues of US$1 billion by the end of the year. More than just a ride-hailing app, Grab launched their food delivery service, GrabFood, in Singapore in May of 2018. Since then, GrabFood has expanded from just two to now six countries in the region.

Partnering with thousands of food merchants on the island including A Poke Theory, Hock Lam Beef Noodles, McDonald’s and other independent and franchised establishments on the island, GrabFood is serving up favourites right to people’s doorsteps.
