A minor train delay occurred this morning (1 Jul) along the North South Line (NSL).

According information shared on Twitter platform, the delay was caused by a signaling fault.

There was no official information from SMRT; only posts on social media informed on the delay:

Alvin Lee, on TATA SMRT platform at 8:25am wrote: “North South Line – Signalling Fault Yio Chu Kang – Khatib Additional 15 minutes travelling time due to Signalling Fault. (Station announcement).”

John Robert Lee shared a post from MRT Singapore Service Information on the same platform at 8:29am; he wrote: “Signal failure between Khatib and YCK, causing delays to NSL service. +15 mins of travelling time at the mentioned stretch, towards MSP.”

Passengers also informed and complained on the delay on Twitter:
