Social media, like Facebook and Twitter, were filled with complaints from costumers of StarHub as the local telco experienced yet another breakdown issue for the second time on Monday (24 October) within the last three days.

The first breakdown was on Saturday (22 October) at around the same time with the second one.

At around 10 pm, the company said that it is aware that costumers are facing difficulties accessing the internet.

Around two hours after its tweet, StarHub announced that the issue had been fixed. It said that it is investigating the root cause of this incident and has been monitoring the service to ensure it remains stable for its customers.

Twitter was filled with complaints. They said that the WiFi connection was unavailable, therefore it pushed them to use their mobile data plan. Some asked for compensations.

Mdibina said that she couldn’t even place a call or send a message throughout the day. While, Vivian said that she tried to call the costumer service to ask for assistance and waited for as long as 40 minutes, however, no one attended to her.
