As of Monday noon (14 Jun), the Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed an additional 25 cases of COVID-19 infection in Singapore.

This brings the total number of infection cases to 62,301.

There are 19 new cases of locally transmitted COVID-19 infection. 17 are linked to previous cases, amongst whom 13 have already been placed on quarantine, and 4 were detected through surveillance.

“The remaining 2 cases are currently unlinked,” said MOH.

“Amongst them, 18 are in the community, and 1 resides in a dormitory.”

In addition, there are six new imported cases, who had been placed on Stay-Home Notice (SHN) upon arrival in Singapore. Of these, three are returning Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents (PRs).

The Ministry will share further updates in its press release tonight.

According to last night’s press release, there are currently 130 confirmed cases who are still in hospital. Of these, most are stable or improving, and one is in critical condition in the intensive care unit (ICU).

243 are isolated and cared for at community facilities. These are those who have mild symptoms, or are clinically well but still test positive for COVID-19.

34 have passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection.
