2020 has undoubtedly been an unprecedented year for everyone. While all of us learn to cope and adapt as communities, it is without a shadow of doubt that some of us have been hit harder than the rest.

With that in mind, Singapore People’s Party (SPP) has decided to spread a little year-end cheer by holding a donation drive all in the name of charity and goodwill.

According to SPP, funds from the donation drive will go towards purchasing vouchers that will aide residents with their grocery shopping.

“No amount is too small! As an additional thank you, we have included items from our shop for donations of $10 and above,” said the alternative party in a Facebook post on Tuesday (1 Dec).

“Not all of us have the capacity to part with our hard earned monies this time. You can still help by volunteering your time with our distribution session in end of December, or simply just sharing this post and help us spread the word. Let’s do what we can together as a community!” it added.

Interested donors can contribute pay via bank transfer to any of the accounts below:

i) PayNow account: S94SS0138C (“S94SSZER0138C”)
ii) OCBC Bank account: 7128 04525 001

Upon transfer, kindly fill up this form for delivery.

Those who donate S$10 will receive a pin or keyring of their choice, while those who donate S$25 will receive both the pin and keyring.

Meanwhile, those who donate more than S$50 will be entitled to a copy of a coffee table book picturing Chiam See Thong’s final election campaign in 2011.
