We are embarking on a fundraising initiative in hope to build our warchest, which will go towards the expenses involved in our coverage of the upcoming General Election – most likely to be held in a few months’ time.

Meanwhile, the excess will go towards supporting our mission for independent news coverage in Singapore, as we continue to provide readers with alternative perspectives and to cover stories often ignored or under-reported by mainstream media.

Unfortunately, we are currently underfunded with meager resources at our disposal and limited income from declining advertising on our platform; which is why it is rather difficult for us to compete with the pro-PAP media outlets that are funded through one way or another.

Therefore, we are depending on the generosity of citizens for us to maintain our operations, as we look to hire temporary staff to cover the events on the ground as well as to reimburse our volunteers.

That being said, we do hope you’ll grace us with your kind presence and support us in our upcoming fundraising dinner.

Date: Saturday, 6th of July 2019

Time: 6.30pm – 9pm

Venue: Penthouse Level 45, Singapore Land Tower

Tickets are sold at $100 each (max capacity of 200 pax). Each ticket comes with 1 complimentary drink (wine or beer) and dinner.

Light finger food will also be served. Not forgetting, while the restaurant is non-halal, there is no pork or lard in the menu served.

There is no dress code for the event; just consider it as a warm and casual get-together session where supporters of TOC can gather to mingle and talk about current affairs.

Those who are interested, you can either purchase your ticket via TOC online store or pay via bank transfer to any of the account below:

i) Maybank account: 04011108619
ii) PayNow account: 201543138DTOC

Once you’ve made the payment, do drop us a message at 96155947 for confirmation.

See you there! ?
