On Thursday, authors Chong Zi Liang and Zakaria Zainal did a soft launch for their book “The Invisible Force: Singapore Gurkhas” at Books Actually.

“The book is about a dedicated group of people who has been protecting us for 65 years, yet they remain invisible. This book will fill the gap in our nation’s history, since next year marks our 50th anniversary,” Chong said as he described the content of the book, which has been in the making for about five years.
“The Invisible Force: Singapore Gurkhas” is now available in selected bookstores.
