Towkay Tan plans to go on a trip with his family during Chinese New Year, leaving his coffee shop under the care of his employee, Ah Biao, a shop runner from China. But Towkay Tan is not convinced that he can leave his business to a foreigner who has yet to learn the local language, risking his long-time customer and business reputation.

Ah Biao’s effort in addressing Towkay Tan’s concerns was not in vain, with a pleasant surprise presented to him in the festive season.
This short film, currently featured on VidSee, reminds Singaporeans that deep within us, we still have the heart to accept anyone who tries their best to integrate into the local society and strive for a living in this small little city-state.
