As of Tuesday noon (29 Jun), the Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed an additional 10 cases of COVID-19 infection in Singapore.

This brings the total number of infection cases to 62,563.

There are five new cases of locally transmitted COVID-19 infection.

“4 are linked to previous cases, and have already been placed on quarantine. 1 is linked to previous cases and was detected through surveillance. There are no unlinked cases today,” said MOH.

In addition, there are five new imported cases, who had been placed on Stay-Home Notice (SHN) or isolated upon arrival in Singapore. Four were detected upon arrival in Singapore, while one developed the illness during SHN or isolation.

The Ministry will share further updates in its press release tonight.

According to last night’s press release, there are currently 135 confirmed cases who are still in hospital. Of these, most are stable or improving, and three are in critical condition in the intensive care unit (ICU).

170 are isolated and cared for at community facilities. These are those who have mild symptoms, or are clinically well but still test positive for COVID-19.

36 have passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection.
