Last meal and final requests: A glimpse into the life of a death row inmate

Suppiah Chellam, a death row prisoner who will be executed on Wednesday, has requested his favourite foods, music CDs, and photos from his childhood to be brought to him in the week leading up to his execution. He is also allowed to use some money to buy treats for his fellow prisoners, but an ex-death row prisoner who was acquitted last year says it’s hard to swallow gifts from a man who will be hanged in a few days.
