PSP elects new CEC as NCMPs Leong Mun Wai and Hazel Poa secure re-election
The Progress Singapore Party (PSP) elected a new Central Executive Committee (CEC) on 20 March 2025, ahead of the anticipated General Election in May. Re-elected members include Dr Tan Cheng Bock, Leong Mun Wai, and Hazel Poa Koon Koon. The party will announce its leadership lineup later, with Mr Leong and Ms Poa seen as the top contenders for the secretary-general post.

Both Non-constituency Members of Parliament (NCMPs), Leong Mun Wai and Hazel Poa Koon Koon, were re-elected to the Progress Singapore Party’s (PSP) top decision-making body on Thursday (20 March 2025), ahead of the anticipated General Election (GE) in May. Founder, chairman, and former secretary-general Dr Tan Cheng Bock was also re-elected to the party's Central Executive Committee (CEC). Of the 14 members of the previous CEC, six were re-elected, including Dr Tan, Leong, and Poa. Former assistant secretary-general Dr Ang Yong Guan, along with Lim Cher Hong, Nadarajah Loganathan, and Jeffrey Khoo, who contested in Marymount SMC, Pioneer SMC, and West Coast GRC in the 2020 General Election, were not re-elected.
