President Barack Obama was the guest on popular American talk show, Tonight Show With Jay Leno, March 19. Obama thus became the first sitting American president to appear on a talk show. Some quarters criticized his appearance on the show but President Obama was reported to have defended it by saying that he “can do more than one thing at a time and is working on a host of issues, including climate change and health care reform.
