As earlier announced, The Online Citizen will be giving out an award each month for the Article/Report of the Month and an award for the Article/Report of the Year at the end of 2009. This in recognition of the effort and time put in by the writers, all of whom contribute to TOC on a voluntary basis.  The editors of TOC – Choo Zheng Xi, Andrew Loh and Terence Lee – have unanimously selected the following eight articles as nominees.

We invite you, our readers and guests, to cast your vote for the article which you feel deserves to be named as January’s best. Please cast your vote at the poll section of this website. (Poll will close in one week, on the 17th of January.)

The winner will be awarded a cash prize of S$50.

The best of each month will automatically qualify for the final reckoning at the end of the year for the Article/Report of the Year award.

Thank you.
