Andre Low and Eileen Chong from WP to take NCMP seats in Singapore’s 15th Parliament
Andre Low and Eileen Chong from the Workers’ Party will be appointed NCMPs in Singapore’s 15th Parliament, following their strong performances in Jalan Kayu SMC and Tampines GRC during the 2025 General Election, according to the Elections Department.

Andre Low Wu Yang and Eileen Chong Pei Shan from the Workers’ Party (WP) have been appointed as Non-Constituency Members of Parliament (NCMPs) in Singapore’s 15th Parliament. The Elections Department made the announcement on 19 May 2025, following the recent General Election held on 3 May. Low, 34, contested in Jalan Kayu Single Member Constituency (SMC), while Chong, 33, was part of the WP’s five-member team in Tampines Group Representation Constituency (GRC). Low received 48.53 per cent of the vote in Jalan Kayu SMC, the highest percentage among unelected opposition candidates. Meanwhile, Chong’s team in Tampines GRC secured 47.37 per cent, the second-highest vote share among the unelected opposition, in a four-way contest ultimately won by the People’s Action Party (PAP).
