GE2025 Results: PAP wins Radin Mas SMC with 69.17% of the vote
PAP’s Melvin Yong has won Radin Mas SMC in GE2025 with 69.17% of the vote, defeating independent candidate Darryl Lo Kar Keong (23.47%) and PAR’s Kumar Appavoo (7.36%).
On 3 May 2025, Radin Mas SMC was officially called for the People’s Action Party’s (PAP) Melvin Yong, who secured 69.17 per cent of the votes.
He defeated independent candidate Darryl Lo Kar Keong, who garnered 23.47 per cent, and the People’s Alliance for Reform’s (PAR) Kumar Appavoo, who received 7.36 per cent.
A total of 22,845 valid votes were cast, with 15,801 going to PAP, 5,362 to the independent candidate, and 1,682 to PAR.
Under the revised electoral boundaries announced on 11 March, Radin Mas SMC was expanded to include the easternmost polling district of the former West Coast GRC, covering estates in HarbourFront and Sentosa.
The constituency now has 25,497 electors.
