其中一人曾出席君悦酒店会议 本地增两起确诊新冠病例

根据卫生部文告,截至今日(6日)下午2时,本地再添两起2019新型冠状病毒(2019-nCoV)确诊病例,

第29起病例是一名41岁国民,近期也未曾到过中国。他在上月28日出现发烧症状,隔日到诊所就诊;在30日再向另一家综合诊所求医,并于本月3日送往伊丽莎白诺维娜医院。他在本月5日晚11时确诊。

当局目前已追踪曾与上述病例接触的人士,并调查他是否与此前来自大陆确诊病例有关联。

第30起确诊病例,则是27岁国民,他在今日2时确诊。他同样未曾到过中国,但在本月20至22日,曾出席在君悦酒店(Grand Hyatt)举行的国际商务会议,该会议有来自包括中国湖北的代表出席。

上述会议至少获得94名海外人士出席,包括一名马来西亚男子和两名韩国人回国后确诊。

一病患入加护病房

最新两起确诊病例已获隔离,情况稳定。除了此前已出院的第七起病例,剩余27起病例大多稳定和好转,惟其中两位病患情况恶化,其中一人入加护病房(ICU),另一病例则需额外氧气支持。

截至6日中午12时,共有310宗疑似病例经测试对新冠病毒呈阴性反应,仍有147宗疑似病例待检测结果。此外,该部确认多达435人曾于病例接触人士,其中353人仍在新加坡,并与其中348人取得联系,并予以隔离。

此前的28起病例都涉及来自中国武汉的旅客,或是曾与中国旅客接触的人士,这些病例都已获隔离。有鉴于中国海外的一些案例,该部称必须对于社群内本地人感染的可能性做好准备。

该部称早前已加强预防措施,以减少新冠在社区中传播的风险。 “一旦我们从正在进行的调查中获得了一些发现,我们随时准备进一步加强措施。”
