连总理也被“问候”? 星展香港分行遭涂鸦不雅字眼

今早本地社交媒体疯传,星展银行在香港分行的玻璃窗疑被涂鸦不雅字眼,相信是被当地示威者恶搞,包括总理和本地执政党人民行动党都被侮辱“问候”。

今日稍迟星展银行发言人向《海峡时报》证实此事,并表示有关涂鸦今早已被清理。

虽然涂鸦者何以向星展银行分行泄愤动机未明,不过涂鸦中出现总理字眼,相信与总理李显龙此前发表的言论有关。

回顾上月17日,李显龙在环球总裁大会,认为尽管香港示威者提出“五大诉求,缺一不可”,但这些诉求并不是为了解决香港问题,而是为了羞辱和把香港政府拉下来。

然后怎样?可能有些人被追问,会说我不知道,无论如何我只希望这么做(指让港府下台),这是令人遗憾的状况。”

此外,在上月15日的全国职工总会大会(NTUC Conference)时,致辞评论香港近5个月来的反送中热潮,示威活动显示人民深深的不满,其中获得最大的反响为政治议题。

但他认为示威者更像是在“羞辱”(humiliate)政府而不是解决现在的问题,并直指如果我国如香港式举办大型抗议活动,将可能会“玩完”。

对于新加坡总理的言论,中国内地和香港网民的观点两极化,总理被中国媒体视为是“社交媒体英雄”(social media hero)。中国网民赞扬,微博上不断被转载该演讲的帖子,同时中国网民也赞赏新加坡的司法制度、政府效率很高等。同时也被中国官媒《人民日报》旗下的《环球时报》所报导。

香港反送中抗争仍持续,新加坡企业在香港的投资也受影响,包括丰树北亚商业信托(Mapletree North Asia Commercial Trust)旗下产业又一城(Festival Walk)购物商场遭到严重破坏;该企业昨日闭市时报1.16元,跌4.9巴仙,也是10个月来最大跌幅;其他本地上市公司如星展集团、华侨银行和香港置地等也受影响。
