Yakult has announced its partnership with Joseph Schooling, Singapore’s first-ever Olympic gold medallist, as its Brand Ambassador and will be working together with Joseph Schooling to promote a healthy lifestyle in Singapore.
The partnership between the Japanese probiotic drink company and Schooling which extends till 2020, will have the two working together to promote the health benefits of probiotics and to inspire the community to strive towards excellence through a healthy lifestyle. The swimmer will be featured in Yakult’s marketing campaign across different media platforms including TV, print and social media.
Kiyotaka Sakurai, Managing Director of Yakult Singapore commented, “The Yakult family has watched Joseph grow up from an aspiring young swimmer to become a true champion that he is today. Not only is he a remarkable athlete, his humility and strong family values resonates with Yakult Singapore’s humble beginnings and core values.”
He added, “Yakult Singapore has always been a strong supporter of Singapore’s swimming activities (Yakult Singapore has become one of the main sponsors of Singapore Swimming Association since 2009) and it only makes sense for us to extend our support to Joseph in inspiring the next generation of Singapore swimmers and athletes.
