Man stabbed in Yishun in front of children; case allegedly linked to relationship dispute

SINGAPORE: A 29-year-old man was stabbed outside Block 467B Yishun Avenue 6 on the evening of 13 June 2025, reportedly in front of his two young children. According to local media Shin Min Daily News, the incident occurred around 7.50pm. The man, although injured, managed to bring his children back home before seeking help. A neighbour who declined to be named said she ran out upon hearing of the incident and found the victim in bloodstained clothes. She applied pressure to the wound using her hands in an attempt to stop the bleeding while others called for an ambulance. She also shared that the man broke into a cold sweat and seemed to be going into shock, though he only said that he was in pain. Photos she shared showed blood-soaked towels on the ground, which were later cleaned by cleaners.
