GE2025 Results: PAP wins Jurong Central SMC with 80.51% of the vote

Jurong Central SMC was officially called on 3 May 2025 for the People’s Action Party’s Xie Yao Quan, who secured 80.51% of the votes, defeating Red Dot United’s Kala Manickam (19.49%). Of 27,182 valid votes cast, PAP received 21,884 while RDU garnered 5,298.

On 3 May 2025, Jurong Central SMC has been officially called for the People’s Action Party’s (PAP) Xie Yao Quan with 80.51 per cent of the votes. He beat the Red Dot United (RDU)'s Kala Manickam who garnered 19.49 per cent of the votes. A total of 27.182 valid votes were cast – with 21,884 votes going to PAP and 5,298 votes to RDU. Jurong Central SMC, home to 29,620 voters, is one of six new single-seat constituencies created in the latest review of Singapore’s electoral boundaries. It was carved out from parts of Jurong GRC and Yuhua SMC, as part of a broader effort to ensure a consistent MP-to-voter ratio.
