GE2025 Results: PAP retains Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC with 75.21% of the vote
The PAP won Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC with 75.21% of the vote, defeating SPP’s 24.79%. Led by Chee Hong Tat, PAP’s team also included Saktiandi Supaat, Cai Yinzhou, and Elysa Chen. SPP’s slate was headed by Steve Chia. PAP secured 66,137 votes; SPP, 21,799.

SINGAPORE: The People’s Action Party (PAP) secured Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC with 75.21% of the vote, comfortably defeating the Singapore People’s Party (SPP), which garnered 24.79%.
PAP received 66,137 votes, while SPP collected 21,799. A total of 87,936 valid votes were cast, with 284 rejected ballots.
The PAP team was led by Transport Minister Chee Hong Tat and included incumbent Saktiandi Supaat alongside newcomers Cai Yinzhou and Elysa Chen.
The SPP slate featured party secretary-general Steve Chia, chairman Lim Rui Xian, Melvyn Chiu, and Muhammad Norhakim.
In GE2020, the SPP team—then comprising Chia, Chiu, Williamson Lee, and Osman Sulaiman—secured 32.77% of the vote, losing to the PAP lineup led by then Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen, who has since retired from politics.
