GE2025: PAP’s Tan See Leng leads team to 63.59% victory in Chua Chu Kang GRC
Chua Chu Kang GRC was called on 3 May 2025 for the PAP team led by Manpower Minister Tan See Leng, with 63.6% of the vote. The team beat the Progress Singapore Party’s slate, which secured 36.4%. Of 86,488 valid votes, PAP took 55,000 and PSP 31,488.

SINGAPORE: On 3 May 2025, Chua Chu Kang GRC was officially called for the People’s Action Party’s four-member team led by Manpower Minister Tan See Leng, with 63.6% of the vote.
The PAP team defeated the Progress Singapore Party, which secured 36.4%.
The PAP slate comprised Dr Tan, former MP Zhulkarnain Abdul Rahim, and first-time candidates Jeffrey Siow, a former permanent secretary, and Dr Choo Pei Ling, an assistant professor at the Singapore Institute of Technology.
The PSP’s team featured second vice-chairperson A’bas Kasmani, women’s wing head Wendy Low, party treasurer S Nallakaruppan, and newcomer Lawrence Pek, former secretary-general of the Singapore Manufacturing Federation.
Of 86,488 valid votes, PAP garnered 55,000, while PSP received 31,488.
