SINGAPORE — Run:ai, a frontrunner in compute orchestration for artificial intelligence (AI) workloads, is joining forces with AI Singapore (AISG), a national initiative established by the National Research Foundation.

The partnership is aimed at propelling scalable infrastructure solutions for an array of AI projects to expedite the adoption of AI in Singapore’s industries.

As the race for global AI dominance intensifies, with over 50 nations implementing their AI strategies, Singapore aspires to secure a leading position by 2030.

AISG, in its pivotal role, is instrumental in assisting organisations to integrate AI solutions. Through AISG’s prominent 100 Experiments Programme (100E) and the esteemed AI Apprenticeship Programme (AIAP), the agency has collaborated with over 60 companies, nurturing over 200 Singaporean AI engineers.

These partnerships have successfully developed, tested, and deployed hundreds of AI models, addressing an array of real-world issues.

Run:ai’s technological prowess will facilitate effective resource distribution, especially with the escalating scale of AISG’s initiatives.

This Israel-based company is renowned for assisting organisations in efficiently managing multiple projects by automatically scaling and scheduling GPU resources, simplifying the management process and enabling organisations to optimize their AI projects across diverse environments.

“Efficient management of resources and infrastructure is paramount to support our wide array of AI projects,” said Laurence Liew, Director of AI Innovation, AISG.

“With Run:ai’s assistance, we will not only reduce costs and environmental impact but also deliver more value to our stakeholders and partners. We are thrilled to collaborate with Run:ai and leverage their scalable technology.”

Omri Geller, CEO and co-founder of Run:ai, echoed Liew’s enthusiasm, stating, “Successfully leveraging AI is critical for every country. We are confident that our solution will play a crucial role in enabling AISG to meet the AI development needs of their community, including startups, universities, and businesses looking to embark on AI projects.”

This strategic partnership aligns perfectly with Singapore’s broader vision of becoming a global leader in AI by 2030, and Run:ai’s innovative technology is set to play a pivotal role in this endeavor.
