SELANGOR, MALAYSIA — The rescue team of the operation at the landslide in Batang Kali, retrieved another four bodies of victims at 11.04 am this morning(22 Dec).

The four deceased consist of an adult male, an adult female woman, and two children.

They are 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th deceased victims.

To date, a total of 30 victims have been confirmed to have lost their lives in the landslide.

According to the latest post by Selangor Fire and Rescue Department, the four victims are discovered by rescuers at Sector C (Riverside) at the Father’s Organic Farm landslide site.

The Search and Rescue (SAR) mission has entered its seventh day, and rescuers are still searching for three more victims.

Last Friday (16 December), a predawn landslide hit a campsite at an organic farm on Friday near the town of Batang Kali just outside the capital Kuala Lumpur.

A total of 94 people, most of them asleep, were trapped by the massive landslide when it hit,  61 people were found safe or rescued.

The landslide fell from an estimated height of 30 meters above the campsite and covered an area of about 3 acres.
