National marathon champion Soh Rui Yong will be participating lawyers from Eugene Thuraisingam LLP for a 10-kilometre run on Sunday (4 Apr) aimed at raising funds for an “inclusive justice” campaign initiated by the firm.

The campaign, called “Run for Justice”, is being held in conjunction with Eugene Thuraisingam LLP’s ninth anniversary and is held in collaboration with Law Society Pro Bono Services (LSPBS).

Funds donated to the campaign will go towards LSPBS’ court representation schemes for foreigners in areas of criminal legal aid, matrimonial matters and more.

“For each donation received, members of ETLLP and LSPBS will run or walk the corresponding distance throughout the month of Apr,” said the firm.

All donations are tax-deductible and will go directly to the campaign.

Tote Board will match donations to Inclusive Justice up to 40 per cent, subject to a cap of S$100,000, under Tote Board’s Enhanced Fundraising Programme.

Those wishing to donate to the campaign can do so via the following methods:

A four-tier sponsorship package list is also available, with prices depending on the distance covered during the run.
