Bus carrying foreign workers collides with car on Jurong Island highway

A bus carrying foreign workers collided with a car on Jurong Island highway on Sunday morning (6 Dec).
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said that it was alerted to a road traffic accident along Jurong Island highway at about 7am on Sunday.
The accident reportedly took place at the end of the highway.
According to the police, a total of 21 bus passengers – all men – were taken to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH), National University Hospital (NUH), and Singapore General Hospital (SGH).
Meanwhile, the driver of the car, a 42-year-old man, was sent to NUH.
All 22 victims of the crash were conscious when taken to the respective hospitals, said the police.
Police investigations are ongoing.
In a video that has been circulating on social media – capturing the scene of the accident – the bus can be seen toppled on its side, while the front half of the car appears smashed.
