An apparent track circuit failure at Tiong Bahru MRT station has led to delays on the East West Line, from Paya Lebar to Tiong Bahru.
According to a tweet on MRT Singapore Service Information official Twitter account, trains are bunching up as far as Tanah Merah, with some trains terminating at Outram Park instead.

The most recent update on the situation on Twitter confirms that there is an additional five minutes of travel time for commuters travelling from Paya Lebar to Tiong Bahru due to a track fault.
