GE2020 Results: PAP wins Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC with 64.15% of the vote
Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC has been officially called for People’s Action Party (PAP) with 64.15% per cent of the votes.
The PAP team includes Sharael Taha, Teo Chee Hean, Desmond Tan, Yeo Wan Ling and Janil Puthucheary.
They beat the Singapore Democratic Alliance’s (SDA) team—Desmond Lim, Abu Mohamed, Harminder Pal Singh, Kuswadi Atnawi and Kelvin Ong—which garnered 23.67 per cent of the votes.
The PAP team also beat the Peoples Voice’s (PV) team—Jireh Lim, Prabu Ramachandran, Mohamed Nassir Ismail, Gilbert Goh and Vignes Ramachandran—which garnered 12.18 per cent of the votes.
A total of 100,772 votes went to PAP while 37,179 went to SDA, and 19,127 went to PV.
