There was a train service delay along the Circle Line (CCL) occurred around noon on Wednesday (22 May); according to SMRT it was due to a train fault.

Not many commuters commented on the social media platforms, only Jabez Zheng tweeted at 11:52am that the train between Ang Mo Kio and Woodlands was super slow:

SMRT informed through its tweet at 12:40pm asking for 20 minutes additional traveling time between Promenade and Dhoby Ghaut or Marina Bay:

A commuter complained bitterly in Malay on Twitter, said SMRT has taken billions of dollar and still wasn’t enough:

At 12:54pm SMRT updated that the additional travel time was then 15 minutes:

At 13:07pm SMRT informed that the fault has been cleared;

And at 13:14pm SMRT tweeted that the train service has resumed normally:

The Red Dot Oz commented on its tweet that the CCL’s train faults has increased recently, wondering if SMRT neglected it while caring for older lines:

Actually, earlier around 8am, the train service along the CCL in the direction of MacPherson has also been delayed about 5 minutes according to a passenger’s tweets:
