Huawei kicks off the New Year with second customer service centre in Singapore

Huawei, the world’s second largest smartphone manufacturer, today announced that it will open its second Customer Service Centre in Westgate, Singapore on 11 January 2019.

Huawei’s products and services are available in more than 170 countries, and are used by a third of the world’s population. Sixteen R&D centres have been set up in the United States, Germany, Sweden, Russia, India and China.

Huawei Consumer BG is one of Huawei’s three business units and covers smartphones, PC and tablets, wearables and cloud services, etc. Huawei’s global network is built on almost 30 years of expertise in the telecom industry and is dedicated to delivering the latest technological advances to consumers around the world.

The service centre adds to the company’s ongoing expansion in Singapore and offers a convenient one-stop destination for customers living in the west. The centre will provide a complete range of services including technical support and maintenance repairs to its growing customer base.

Fully-trained staff will help to facilitate all in-warranty of up to two years and out-of-warranty services on the spot with loan phones if required. This also includes complimentary screen replacements for the P and Mate smartphone series, which is applicable within the first three months of purchase.

Customers can also enjoy a holistic experience right at their fingertips by checking their warranty period and repair status on the Huawei HiCare App, available on the Huawei AppGallery and Google Play Store.

In addition to repair services, the service centre also offers a spectrum of Huawei products where customers can get their hands on the latest offering including mobile phones, tablets, mobile broadband, wearables and accessories. With a suite of services housed under the new service centre, Huawei aims to provide a better customer experience for all.

“After a successful year in 2018, we are thrilled to launch our second Customer Service Centre in Singapore as part of our commitment to create first-in-class experiences and connections with our customers. We look forward to serving our customers at our new service centre where they can be assured of high quality after-sales care and service delivery,” said Mr. Cheng Jiangfei, Managing Director of Huawei Consumer Business Group Singapore.

During the official opening on 11 January 2019, customers will enjoy S$100 off on every Huawei Mate 20 smartphone purchase and receive a Huawei Executive Backpack worth S$79, while stocks last.

The opening of the centre comes on the back of an impressive year for Huawei with global smartphone shipments surpassing 200 million in 2018. The company is growing its presence locally with new product offerings to come including smart watches, tablets and laptops.

To date, the company has established 20 Huawei Concept Stores in Singapore for customers to experience its latest offerings.

The Service Centre is open Monday – Sunday from 11am to 8pm at Westgate, 3 Gateway Drive, #03-38/39, Singapore 608532. For more information, visit Huawei website.
