国家环境局:小贩运营都会有附加开销

国家环境局小贩中心署署长Ivy Ong,在《海峡时报》论坛撰文,反驳一则指淡滨尼综合站小贩中心月租高达3千新元的报导。

她澄清,在42个摊位中,只有三个摊位的月租达到三千元,其余则有一摊位月租1千500元,以及其余38个摊位月租都是2千元。

早前,《海峡时报》报导,称在淡滨尼综合站小贩中心营业的小贩,需要承担如下费用:

  • 摊位租金:3千元
  • 中央碗碟清洗系统:1千200元
  • 租借收音机:100元
  • 消费税:302元
  • 摊主吸纳的10巴仙食物折扣:大约3千元
  • 夜班员工薪资:1千200元

针对聘请夜班员工开销,Ivy Ong指出只有三分之一摊位24小时运作,小贩仍可选择是否经营24小时。

至于10巴仙的食物折扣,Ivy Ong认为,此举乃是吸引顾客的薄利多销策略,是与生意量和收入成正比的,把它当作是运营成本并不恰当。

”中央碗碟清洗系统改善卫生“

Ivy Ong坚称,中央碗碟清洗服务,是所有小贩中心小贩,乃至于各大食肆都会有的附加开销。”新开设的小贩中心,这类运营服务都是由管理层张罗,好让小贩们能专注在他们的生意上。“

他相信,集中管理碗碟清洗服务,改善了卫生和生产效率,小贩也不需另外花钱买餐具和聘请员工清洗。

不过,当国家环境局在2013年首次推出中央清洗碗碟服务时,裕华区31街商店小贩联谊会主席魏静君就曾提出,有关服务应让小贩自行选择是否加入,因为它并无法降低小贩的运营开销。

”对于已习惯自行清理碗碟的小贩,很难去说服他们去为原本可以自己做、不用花钱的事项付费。“

即便如此,小贩署署长Ivy Ong指出,新加坡小贩中心仍提供可负担价格的食物于民众。新的管理模式– 社会企业管理模式来管理小贩中心,顾客和小贩都能从中受益,包括可负担的食物价格、更有效率的运作和有创新的营销概念。

她也欢迎民众对未来的小贩中心经营模式,积极提出反馈,以吸纳民众建言作出改善。
