Amidst the news of early closure, late openings at 7 MRT stations along the North-South Line (NSL) on weekends (Fri – Sun) in May 2018, train commuters experienced longer waiting time on the line this Monday morning (7 May).
At 6:27am Ada Magdiel informed on TATA SMRT Facebook that the train service from Yishun to Orchard had about 10 minutes expected waiting time:
Other passengers also complained about the long waiting time, which caused crowds on stations along the NSL:
There were no official announcement from the Singapore Mass Rapid Transport (SMRT) despite the fault was still going on at nearly 10am:
There was also a tweet from Bogosipo//Brokebebe informing a train fault on the East West Line (EWL) at Paya Lebar at 9:45am:
