There were train disruptions along East West Line (EWL) again on Tuesday late afternoon (13 Mar) around 6pm, without official information from the Singapore Mass Rapid Transport (SMRT).
Yong Jian Rong informed on Tata SMRT Facebook there were delays for train services between Paya Lebar and Outram Park, and advised commuters to take the North South Line (NSL) to Raffles Place to continue their journeys towards Joo Koon:
10 min delay for westbound train services between Paya Lebar-Outram Park.
Faulty train taken out of service.

Gasy Amp post confirmed there was no train for 15 minutes at Raffles Place to Joo Koon, all passengers still waiting:

And John Robert Lee shared a post from MRT Singapore Service Information post, informing that trains along EWL between Pay Lebar and City Hall were going to be delayed:
Because of faulty train, EWL trains will be slightly delayed between Paya Lebar and City Hall. Expect heavy delays and consider alternative transport instead.
