Parliamentary questions for 5 March 2018

Parking Places (Amendment) Bill (President’s recommendation signified) – (Minister for Transport).

And there will be an Estimates for the financial year 1 April 2018 to 31 March 2019 (Paper Cmd. 13 of 2018) – Committee of Supply (Progress: 2 March 2018) (3rd Allotted Day). For amendments to be moved in the Committee of Supply, see Supplement No. 10 dated 1 March 2018.

Mr Sitoh Yih Pin: To ask the Minister for Law whether the means test for legal aid can be further revised to allow more Singaporeans to qualify for legal aid as the legal issues they face, such as matrimonial disputes and family-related legal issues, can severely compromise their personal financial ability to engage legal assistance on a commercial basis.
