Without official information from Singapore Mass Rapid Transport (SMRT) another train delays occurred this afternoon along the North South Line (NSL). A commuter, Nur Hidayat Samat, informed a 10 minutes wait at Somerset Station:
At 12:22pm Nur Hidayat Samat posted on TATA SMRT Facebook:
Nur Hidayat Samat: I think there’s a delay on the NSL, northbound. Was stuck in Somerset station for about 10 mins, and now stuck midway to Orchard
Another post on TATA SMRT FB from Jeffery Tan Jian Wei at 1:02pm showed a photo from inside of a train:
Jeffery Tan Jian Wei: North south line stuck at toa payoh for at least 5 mins.. expect delays. Both directions north and southbound.”
At 1:19pm another commuter also posted about Platform Screen Door (PSD) fault at Orchard station platform A:
Alan Charles Yap: Please note: Platform Screen Door (PSD) fault at Orchard station platform A (northbound towards Jurong East). Expect delays on both directions.
Due to southbound train services towards Marina South Pier close proximity to Marina South Pier terminus station, turnaround of trains there will also be affected by the delay due to the cascading effect.”
And at 4:06pm Alvin Lee shared on TATA SMRT FB an SGTrains’s video, informing that trains arriving at Raffles Place southbound (towards Marina South Pier) will enter the station at a much slower speed due to track maintenance. Passengers are advised to travel via the East West Line for a faster journey:

However Jeffery Tan Jian Wei also posted on the Facebook 3 minutes earlier at 5:11pm that there was a train fault along EWL:

Affected all trains before buona Vista towards Joo koon.
Announcement heard on train pa system.
Another commuter also informed on TATA SMRT Facebook at 5:10pm about the train fault at Buona Vista:
Aloysius J B Cruz:Train fault at Buona Vista now. Services to Joo Koon delayed.”
At 5:14 Jeffery Tan Jian Wei also informed the Orchard MRT issue was resolved, answering a question from Shuxuan Tam on the same Facebook:
