Commuters note train delays along NSL on Christmas evening
Train services along North South Line were disrupted last evening (25 Dec) around 11pm, particularly from Yishun to Jurong, due to a signaling fault at Yew Tee station
Andy, a commuter, first posted a tweet noting the slowing service around 10:39pm:

Not long after Andy’s post, Singapore Mass Rapid Transport (SMRT) announced a signaling fault on its tweet:
[NSL]: Due to a signalling fault at Yew Tee station, train services btwn #Choa Chu Kang and #Woodlandwill be delay for about 30 mins. Free regular bus service is available between #Choa Chu Kang and #Woodland.

At 10:53pm, SMRT posted again the same tweet:
[NSL]: Due to a signalling fault at Yew Tee station, train services btwn #ChoaChuKang and #Woodlands will be delay for about 30 mins. Free regular bus service is available between #Choa Chu Kang and #Woodlands.

At 11:22pm SMRT informed that the train services had resumed. But commuters expected to add 20mins train travel time between Choa Chu Kang and Woodland:

Commuters continued to post their grievances after SMRT’s last post on the delay, due to the continued delay experienced on NSL.
