Results of Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE A-Level) Examination was released today (24 Feb), a joint press release from the MOE and SEAB informed.
12,538 students sat for the 2016 GCE A-Level Examination as school candidates. 11,612, or 92.6%, received at least three H2 passes, with a pass in General Paper or Knowledge and Inquiry, the press release said.
The result is slightly was down from the previous year, where 93.1 percent of candidates achieved the same standard of passes. The 2014’s cohort got 91.4 percent obtaining the same standard of passes.
School candidates have been issued their result slips by their respective schools from 2.30pm today while private candidates will be notified of their individual results by post.
The result slips have been mailed to the address of each candidate registered with the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB).
Private candidates who are eligible for SingPass1 can also use their SingPass account to obtain their results online via the internet Examination Results Release System (iERRS) on SEAB’s website from 2.30pm today, it said.
