Land Transport Authority (LTA) has announced that the new Compassvale Bus Interchange will be opened on Sunday (12 March), which will complement the existing Sengkang Integrated Transport Hub.
It said that a sheltered pedestrian overhead bridge and an at-grade crossing will connect the new Compassvale Bus Interchange with the Sengkang Integrated Transport Hub and the Compass One shopping mall.
The authority said that the Interchange will feature priority queues with seats for the elderly and disabled and a standalone nursing room with diaper changing amenities and a wash basin.
It will also feature 40 bicycle racks to facilitate active mobility and enhance first-and-last-mile connectivity.
A new Service 374 will also be introduced to connect Sengkang West to Sengkang Town Centre / Bus Interchange / MRT.

“It will also enhance the connectivity to key amenities such as Sengkang Sports Complex, Compass One shopping mall and the future Sengkang General Hospital. Services operating from the existing Sengkang Bus Interchange will not be affected,” the Authority said.
Apart from Service 374, LTA noted that the new bus interchange will also cater for future bus routes which will be introduced in tandem with the developments in Sengkang.
