Signal fault along Downtown Line, commuters complain of delay being longer than announced
SBS Transit tweeted at around 6pm on Tuesday that its Downtown Lane (DTL) was experiencing 10 minutes delay due to a signalling fault.
Around an hour later, it said that the service was still delayed and it was still trying to rectify the fault.
The service resumed around two hours after the disruption began.
However, it seemed that the delay took longer than what it had said. Twitter user, No Content Bunz tweeted that the train stopped 15 minutes at every station. While, Katherine said that it took one hour from Bugis to Bukit Panjang.
