SBS Transit has announced that the routes of 18 bus services will be diverted due to road closures this weekend.

It said that from 6.00pm on Saturday (31 December 2016) to 1.00am on Sunday (1 January 2017), three bus services – 99, 240 and 246 – will skip eight bus stops along Boon Lay Drive, Boon Lay Place and Corporation Road due to road closures.

SBS said that in light of New Year’s Eve celebration, fifteen of its services – 10, 56, 57, 70M, 100, 111, 130, 131, 133, 162M, 195, 196, 400, 402, and 502 – will be diverted and as a result, skip 12 bus stops along Collyer Quay, Connaught Drive, Parliament Place, Marina Boulevard, Raffles Avenue, Temasek Avenue, Esplanade Drive, Fullerton Road and Temasek Boulevard.

This will be conducted in phases from 3.00pm on Saturday (31 December 2016) to 1.30am on Sunday (1 January 2017).

It also said that from 12.00am to 1.30am on Sunday, 1 January 2017, the six Nite Owl services will also be affected. They will call at the first stop along Raffles Avenue before Temasek Avenue (Bus stop code 02101), and skip the two bus stops along Raffles Avenue, before calling at the bus stop along North Bridge Road, in front of St. Andrew’s Cathedral (Bus stop code 04167).
