President of the Republic of the Philippines Rodrigo Roa Duterte is currently on a state visit in Singapore from 15 to 16 December 2016 at the invitation of President Tony Tan Keng Yam.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has announced that President Duterte will attend an official welcome ceremony at the Istana, followed by a call on President Tan and a meeting with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on 15 December.  President Tan will also host a State Banquet in honour of President Duterte.

PM Lee will host President Duterte to lunch on 16 December. President Duterte will also be meeting Singapore business leaders.

In addition, President Duterte will visit the Singapore Botanic Gardens where an orchid will be named in his honour.  President Duterte will also meet the Filipino community before departing for the Philippines.

President Duterte will be accompanied by Executive Secretary Salvador C Medialdea, Secretary of Foreign Affairs Perfecto R Yasay, Jr, Secretary of Labor and Employment Silvestre H Bello III, Secretary of National Defense Delfin N Lorenzana, Secretary of Trade and Industry Ramon M Lopez, Presidential Communications Office Secretary Jose Ruperto Martin M Andanar, National Security Advisor Hermogenes C Esperon, Jr, Senator Alan Peter S Cayetano, and Philippine National Police Director General Ronald M dela Rosa, and senior officials.
