SBS Transit announced on its Twitter page on Monday (14 November) morning that its North-East Line (NEL)  experienced a train fault at Outram Park NE3 and advised its passengers that there will be 15 minutes additional travelling time.

SBS Transit has informed that free bus rides are available at designated bus stops between Harbourfront NE1 and Dhoby Ghaut NE6.

One of the commuters, Muhammad Akbar, demands SBS Stations to be more accurate in informing the additional time since he had been waiting for more than half an hour without any progress.

While, a Twitter user, Sivaraj Paragasm, said that the train that he was on, stopped 15 minutes on each stations.

Jason Lim said that trains head towards Harbour Front terminated at Little India and go back around towards Punggol direction.

Jonathan Sun said that there are no directions to the free buses except Exit H at Farrer Park MRT station.
