A fatal accident between a car and a motorcycle occured on Kranji Expressway (KJE), in the direction of the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) after the Brickland Road exit, during morning rush hour on July 25.

At 4.58 this morning, LTA tweeted about the accident and advised motorists to avoid lane 1 and 2 on the expressway.

About an hour later the post said that the accident had caused a congestion from KJE until BKE Entrance.

Then the Singapore Police Force posted on its Facebook Page and asked motorist to look for alternatives.

At 8.58, the Police reported that the line had opened to traffic.

A twitter account by name @didirynt posted pictures of the accident which showed a blue tent was placed in front of the affected car.

昨日（5日），本地单日新增确诊暴增120例创下新高，客工宿舍感染群也引起新的隐忧。其中S11榜鹅宿舍感染群，昨日单日就新增22例，累计感染的工友多达63人。卓源东路Westlite宿舍则累计28人感染。 新加坡巡回大使许通美教授，在脸书斥责我国“以第三世界的方式”对待这些外籍客工。 “政府允许雇主以没有座位的平板罗厘载送他们。客工们住在过于拥挤的宿舍，12个人如挤沙丁鱼般住一间房。”加之卫生等问题，许通美指这些客工宿舍如同待爆发的计时炸弹。 许通美指曾见过这些客工就坐在地上吃午餐、或是精疲力竭的客工躺在地上休息，认为我国不应以可耻的方式对打他们。 至于其他新增客工宿舍感染群还包括双溪登加客工宿舍（累计四例）、回利阁感染群（八例）、高琳二号宿舍（四例）、双溪加株环道客工宿舍（三例）、淡滨尼客工宿舍（五例）以及郜林一号宿舍（二例）。 今日《海峡时报》一篇报导，指有来自S11榜鹅宿舍的客工，反映他们缺乏口罩，也住在卫生条件欠佳和过于拥挤的环境。S11榜鹅宿舍住着逾万员工。 据了解，人力部长杨莉明昨日发文表示，在员工宿舍将落实更严谨防疫措施，加强社交距离，同时计划把必要服务领域的客工转移到更合适的住宿。

律师失联案 警方扣Allied Tech执行董事手机电脑调查

本月23日，一家上市公司Allied Technologies申诉，其交给本地律师事务所 JLC Advisors托管的3300万元款项不知所踪。如今警方介入，取走该公司执行董事Low Si Ren的手机和笔记型电脑，以进一步调查此事。 Low Si Ren也在28日于商业事务局（CAD）接受问话，隔日便交上他的护照。 商业调查局也从该公司取走和托管账户有关的文件和记录。Allied Tech表示当局还未透露进一步的调查细节，惟愿意该局充分合作。 此前，Allied Tech称从今年3月23日起，包括本月17日已多次向该事务所索讨上述款项，不过事务所管理合伙人王赐安都一再告知款项很快就会发放，从未提及这笔钱已经不见，或后者无法遵照托管合约交出款项。…
